We’re thrilled to be back at Imola for the First Round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, and it was worth the wait! Witnessing our drivers in action on the track was nothing short of exhilarating, and despite the ups and downs of the weekend, we’re proud to say that we gave our all.

Alessandro Giusti (Driver #3): “Our weekend was a combination of positive and negative results, as we experienced a successful Saturday followed by an unlucky Sunday. Overall, our team had a commendable pace throughout the week, and we are now fully focused on improving our performance for the upcoming event in Barcelona.”

Michael Belov (Driver #30): “One of the most difficult weekends I’ve ever had. After a year from the last race, and half a year of no driving, I just jump into CTs to get some confidence. Actually, I gained something but I was missing a lot, also technical issues did not help us in Q1. The race pace overall was good, even better in race 2 because of the confidence. In Q2 I just felt a car for 95% but didn’t collect all sectors together, so only that left to get on top.”

Adrian Muñoz (Sporting and Technical Manager): “Mixed feelings after the first race of the season. Imola is a very challenging circuit where normally is not easy to test during the winter. For Alessandro was his first experience with the circuit, he adapted quite well and showed an encouraging potential during all sessions, unfortunately, he was not very lucky in Qualifying 2 with a red flag and this also compromised his grid position for race 2. For Michael, we were expecting a difficult weekend as he did not drive the car for a long time and did not make pre-season testing, but he showed one more time that he is a special driver with massive talent and his adaptation was very quick, even race pace was there already considering that he did not race for a long time. Happy with the results but with a bitter taste that could have been more for Us. Next stop our home race at Barcelona, where our drivers will try again to maximize our package and experience on track.”
