G4 Racing experienced a challenging but encouraging weekend at Imola, with strong pace and a determined performance from the entire team providing plenty of positives to take into the next round.

Although the results did not reflect the team’s true potential, G4 Racing consistently demonstrated competitive pace throughout the weekend. Technical issues affected several sessions and compromised the team’s starting positions, but the drivers continued to fight throughout both races, recovering valuable positions on track.

The weekend provided valuable experience and further evidence of the team’s potential, with G4 Racing now focused on building on the positives from Imola and returning even stronger at Hockenheim.

Saqer Almaosherji #3: “We had a tough weekend in Imola due to technical issues almost in every session which affected our performance although we had the potential to compete but hopefully we bounce back in Hockenheim.”

Rahim Alibhai #23: “Overall good progression through the weekend but not the results we looked for. We will work hard and go forward in Hockenheim!”

Marcus Saeter #67: “A weekend with a lot of ups and downs. We showed amazing pace all weekend, especially in qualifying where we were P2 in my group and P3 overall. Unfortunately, the technical issue and starting both races from the back made things difficult, but we fought hard and still managed to gain 7 positions in Race 2. Really happy with the progress we made as a team and the pace we showed. A huge thank you to everyone for the hard work and support. It’s a weekend where we can take a lot of positives. We had amazing pace, and despite the setbacks, we kept fighting until the end. I’m really proud of the team and I can’t wait for Hockenheim.”

Adrian Muñoz, Sporting and Technical Manager: “Difficult weekend, practice was promising but after some issues in Q1 we couldnt recover positions in Race 1 and 2, and we finish having some issues. Q2 wasnt the improvement that we expected but overally was much better than previous day. We hope to retorn to form in Hockenheim where we will have final event of season”
