What a weekend in Montmeló for G4 Racing. It was the last time out on track as for this year, at least officially, and our Saturday and Sunday did not disappoint at all. Since qualifying 1 was cancelled, the grid of the first race was formed by the free practice 1 times, with Philippe Karras 9th and Jean Karras 11th. While Philippe improved his starting place (8th), Jean pitted in order to deliver a fast lap, so that he could place himself in a good spot for the second race, with the grid established in this case by the fastest laps done in race 1. It was not enough, but we gave a good try. As for Sunday’s action, a wet qualifying unleashed Jean’s talent, P7, and Philippe P15 was not to be discredited whatsoever. As previously said, race 2 was a bit of an outlier, but it was the final one that gave Jean his maiden rookie podium. We leave our home track and the 2025 season with a smile. Now we recharge, because in some time it will already be 2026…![]()
