G4 Racing contested the fourth round of the Formula Regional European by Alpine championship on the difficult Hungaroring circuit near Budapest. Patrick Gnos’ team presented two new drivers in the series: Enzo Richer and Edu Robinson, who joined Edouard Borgna, who has been with the team since the beginning of the season. On a difficult track, Borgna, Richer and Robinson constantly improved their performances, showing a good attitude behind the wheel and excellent team working spirit. For G4 Racing, a great satisfaction and the confirmation of its ability to help young drivers grow.
Edouard Borgna (Driver #2): “This weekend in Hungary with the G4 team was intense and full of learning. The Hungaroring is a physically and mentally demanding circuit. Despite the challenges, I stayed focused and took away valuable lessons — every lap helped me grow. Now it’s time for a special race weekend — the next round will take place in France at Paul Ricard, a circuit that feels like ‘home’ to me. I’m ready to give it my all!”
Enzo Richer (Driver #3): “A tough weekend for me. I didn’t expect to be that far off the pace when I arrived at the Hungaroring. After this round, we’ve understood that to be competitive, we need more driving time. Big thanks to the team — I wish G4 Racing all the best for the rest of the season.”
Edu Robinson (Driver #35): “A great debut weekend at the Hungaroring. I had a lot of fun and learned so much. I felt very comfortable with the team, and I’m really happy with how the week went. Looking forward to the next round!”
Adrián Muñoz (Sporting and Technical Manager): “The Hungaroring was a tough one, as expected. It’s a very demanding track, and since it’s not available for winter testing, it makes things even more challenging for rookie drivers. Overall, I’m happy with the progress of our drivers. Next stop: Paul Ricard — a completely different kind of circuit.”
