With the fifth round held at Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, the Formula Regional European by Alpine reached the halfway point of the season. In a particularly busy month of July, which saw the European Regional race at the Hungaroring in Budapest and then at the French circuit, while in the first days of August there will be the round at Imola, G4 Racing continued the development of its young drivers making their debut in the category. Edouard Borgna and Edu Robinson finished both races showing very good signs of progress and making it into the top 20. A good sign ahead of the next round in Italy at the Imola circuit.
Eduard Borgna (Driver #2): “A home race for me this weekend at Le Castellet, on a track I really enjoy. It was quite a tough weekend in terms of results, but a very constructive one overall. We worked a lot with the team, learned many things, and discovered key areas to improve. Even though I would have preferred to perform better in my home country, I was still happy to be racing here. Big thanks to the whole G4 Racing team, my engineer, my mechanic, and everyone at the circuit for their support.”
Edu Robinson (Driver #35): “Good week in Paul Ricard. Saturday was tough but we learned for Sunday. Sunday we showed good pace in both the race and qualifying. We go for more in Imola.”
Adrián Muñoz (Sporting and Technical Manager): “Paul Ricard has marked the middle of the 2025 FRECA season. Results were not the desired, but we continued the learning curve with our rookie drivers. The first part of the season had visits to historic and interesting circuits, but the best is yet to come in the second part.”
