G4 Racing wrapped up another race weekend in the Spanish F4 Championship at Navarra, featuring a fresh line-up for the event. Archie Davies, Romuald Bocquet, and Stefano Pedani joined the team for Round 6 of the campaign. As it was the first time at this track for all three drivers, the weekend was full of continuous progress and improvement session after session.

Romuald Bocquet (#12):

“The race weekend in Navarra was pretty interesting. We knew from the start that jumping into a new car, totally different from a GB4 and with tyres that behave completely differently, on a track where we had never tested, was never going to be easy. I was honestly starting to have a great feeling in the car on Friday and Saturday, even though it was more of a struggle on Sunday. Apart from Race 2, where we received a rather unfair penalty, the fact that we gained between 5 and 10 places in every race showed what we could have achieved with a little bit more luck. I also found it great that the shared data helps with development in this championship. At the end of the day, the goal of the weekend was to collect data from different drivers for G4, and our only job was to adapt as fast as possible, which I think we did! Thanks to G4 for the great opportunity and the warm welcome. It was a pleasure working alongside everybody, and I hope our paths cross again in the future! All the best.”

Stefano Pedani (#94):

“It was a fun weekend with G4 Racing at Navarra, and I’m grateful to the whole team for giving me this opportunity. While we struggled a little with pace during qualifying, we managed to make good progress in the races, fighting our way from the back of the field to around P20 in all three races. It wasn’t the strongest weekend overall, but we learned a lot and gained valuable experience. A big thank you to everyone at G4 Racing for their hard work and support throughout the weekend.”

Patrick Gnos, Team Principal:

“G4 Racing arrived in Navarra for the sixth round of the championship with 3 new drivers, stepping in for our regular line-up, who were busy with other commitments. Our three drivers were eager to discover the track, the tyres, and the rules (track limits), as well as the racing behavior of their lovely fellow competitors. Expectations were measured given the number of variables to absorb. Weather conditions during practice didn’t make things easy. Luckily, the race weekend itself was sunny. Our three drivers discovered just how aggressive the field can be. Still, they made steady progress session after session, and we left the weekend satisfied. We’re already preparing for the final round of the championship in Barcelona.”
