G4 Racing concluded the final round of the Spanish Winter Championship at MotorLand Aragón with a positive and encouraging performance, marking a significant advancement for the team. The team demonstrated clear progress in their performance, with strong recovery drives throughout the weekend.

Following a challenging start to the championship, this final round demonstrated the progress made by G4 Racing, with improved pace and more consistent race execution. Across the race, the drivers gained several positions, demonstrating confidence, determination, and a competitive mindset until the final laps.

The team also had to deal with a last-minute change in its driver lineup. Due to unexpected flight cancellation issues, Jordan Moodley was unable to attend the event. Stefano Pedani was called upon to step in as a substitute. Despite the limited preparation time, Stefano adapted quickly and played an important role in the team’s overall performance during the weekend.

Despite unexpected changes to the programme, G4 Racing maintained their focus and seized opportunities, demonstrating resilience and team spirit at every stage of the event.

J. Karras (Driver #9):

‘The weekend at Motorland proved more successful than Jarama, as we collaborated effectively as a team and secured an additional two points. It was a good end to the winter championship, but we need to improve our speed for the main championship.”

P. Karras (Driver #12)

“It was a very successful weekend. We encountered some difficulties during the qualifying sessions, but the team’s performance in the races demonstrated the presence of a strong pace. I have learned and progressed a significant amount.  This weekend has been a success, with only positive outcomes. I would like to thank the team for their work.”

S. Pedani (Driver #94):

“It was a great experience with G4 Racing for my first F4 race. I decided to race last minute, so I arrived late on Friday and only had one practice session to get up to speed.

Saturday was tough, with tricky weather conditions and some rain during qualifying, but the races were exciting and we had some great battles on the track.

Unfortunately, Sunday didn’t go well for us because of electronic problems. This meant that we had to stop in Qualifying 2 and Race 3.

It was a great weekend. I learned a lot, had fun and only had a little bit of bad luck on Sunday.”

Patrick Gnos (Team Principal):

“For the third round of the Spanish F4 Winter Championship at the Motorland track, we wanted to use the experience we got from the first two rounds.

Our drivers and the team did really well, and we all learned a lot more about the cars and tyres.

We could have got points in all the races, but a few accidents stopped us from doing as well as we might have. But we did well in some of the races.

We are now getting ready for the main competition, and we are feeling hopeful and working hard.

We would like to say a big thank you to our drivers and their families for their support, and to all our fans for the kind messages and visits to our box.”

As well as the results, the weekend was another important step in the team getting ready for the main competition, the Spanish F4 regular season. The team is feeling confident and motivated after the progress it made during the Winter Championship, and it is now looking ahead to the next challenges.

G4 Racing is now looking to the future with a clear plan, hoping to keep up this good form in the Spanish F4 season.
