Round nine of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, held in the mythical Hockenheimring, Germany, left G4 Racing with bittersweet feelings, for what could have been and, eventually, wasn’t. Still, Édouard Borgna, Edu Robinson and Saqer Al Maosherji proved themselves in changeable conditions, delivering promising signs for the last race weekend of the year, in which, as always, the team is going to put their best effort to try to mark off 2025 with a delightful memory.
Édouard Borgna (Driver #2):
“A cold and challenging weekend filled with learning in many different weather conditions and changing track surfaces due to the weather. I gained a lot of valuable experience, which reinforced my progress. Now I’m fully focused on the next meeting.”
Saqer Al Maosherji (Driver #3):
“We showed good performance this weekend but were unlucky with the results. They didn’t reflect our true pace. In Race 1, unfortunately, we had to start from the back, and overtaking was difficult due to the damp conditions off-line. Overall, it was still a good step forward compared to the last round.”
Edu Robinson (Driver #35):
“It was a tricky week in Hockenheim due to the mixed conditions, but overall it was another positive one. I keep learning and improving both in pace and racecraft. A big thanks to the team for all the hard work.”
Adrián Muñoz (Sporting and Technical Manager): “Mixed feelings on our way back from Hockenheimring, track conditions were changeable and adaptation was key, our drivers continued learning and improving. Fully focus now on Monza, final race of the season.”
