Swiss squad G4 Racing managed to seal off its 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season with a top-10 finish at Monza, home to the tenth and final round of the year.

Kanato Le was a major protagonist once again, and mastering the intermittent rain conditions, he emerged  in a dry track situation in Race 2 despite multiple safety cars. He eventually crossed the finish line in P9, and ended up second among rookies.

A crash prevented Romain Andriolo from reaping the benefits of all the progress made throughout the season, and highlighted by finishing close to the points zone in Barcelona. Making his second FRECA start, Jett Bowling ended up 21st in Race 2, consolidating a growing trend in such a short time in the series.

Kanato Le (Driver #9): “It was an unpredictable weekend with the weather being very wet, and my first time driving in Monza. But we managed to improve every session and in the last race I was able to score points so it was a nice way to end the season. I would like to thank everyone at G4 Racing for giving me a great opportunity this year”.Romain Andriolo (Driver #16): “We crossed the finish line in Monza. It’s disappointed to finish like this but I’m happy with the progress made during the season and with finding performance at different moments”.

Jett Bowling (Driver #33): “It was a tricky weekend at Monza with the intermittent rain. I made good progress throughout the event but mistakes in qualifying held us back from the results to show for it”.

Adrián Muñoz (Technical and Sporting Manager): “Challenging weekend in difficult conditions. The track was tricky in some sessions, but our drivers gave their best to keep learning and progressing. Kanato scored points to end the season, showcasing his growth throughout the year. This is his second season in single-seaters and his first one racing in Europe. Romain had a tough weekend, including an accident with another driver, preventing him from confirming his progress from the previous race in Barcelona. Jett did a fantastic job, especially considering it was his first time at Monza; he showed improvement each time he got in the car. The 2024 season is now finished with both highs and lows, but our team’s hard work never stopped. The 2025 season has already begun”.
