The second round of the Formula Regional European by Alpine takes place on the legendary Belgian circuit of Spa. G4 Racing is present with Edouard Borgna and Arthur Aegerter. After the test day on Thursday and the free practices on Friday, qualifying took place on Saturday morning with Borgna P25 and Aegerter P27. As in Misano, the venue of the first round of the championship, also in Spa the two G4 drivers saw the checkered flag by running a regular and profitable race 1 with Borgna who was P22 and Aegerter P26

The second race saw G4 Racing take the chequered flag with Arthur Aegerter. Starting from 25th position, Aegerter finished 24th, continuing his growth path. Edouard Borgna steadily improved his lap chrono but had to retire.

The next event will be at the Zandvoort circuit is the weekend of June 8th.

Edouard Borgna (Driver #2):
Second round of the FRECA on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit. It was a challenging weekend, but I’m happy to have raced on such an iconic track. I took an important step forward with G4 Racing, improving my best lap by over two seconds in free practice. In Qualifying 2, I came close to the top 16, but stronger improvements from other drivers placed me further down the grid. In the race, I set my best times in sectors 1 and 3, along with my fastest lap overall — proof that I’m pushing my limits in race conditions. Confidence is growing, pace is improving. Now fully focused on Zandvoort!

Arthur Aegerter (Driver #3):
The second round of the season at Spa-Francorchamps was a weekend full of learning and progress. Every session on track gave me the opportunity to better understand the car and the demands of this iconic circuit. Step by step, I gained confidence and improved my performance, thanks to the strong support and hard work of the entire G4 Racing team.

Adrián Muñoz (Sporting and Technical Manager):
Spa never disappoints — as one of the best circuits in the world, it always offers great racing. Our rookie drivers continued to learn and improve despite not having the best luck, with Q1 being cancelled and Q2 evolving rapidly as track conditions improved lap by lap. In the races, they gained valuable experience and did their best. Next stop is Zandvoort, another challenging and historic track where we’ll aim to keep progressing.
