Following a solid debut in the inaugural round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in Imola, G4 Racing will expand its line up to field three cars in the second event of the season, which will take place between May 7th and 9th in Barcelona.
The Swiss team reached an agreement with Alessandro Famularo, who will join Axel Gnos and Belén García on the grid in the next three rounds of Barcelona, Monaco and Paul Ricard. The former ADAC Formula 4 driver and race winner will provide some welcomed experience to the team, having contested three rounds of the Formula Regional European Championship in 2020. In that occasion, he was able to claim a rookie podium.
Adrián Muñoz (Sporting and Technical Manager): ”With the addition of Alessandro, our team will benefit from a very quick and talented driver who will also boost the technical and sporting activity with his experience with the car and tires. Even without the chance to have him in testing and the first race , we are sure he will do his best and will unlock the pace he already has”.
